Robinson film worth the money [UPDATED]Published 8:59am Friday, April 19, 2013 Updated 11:21am Friday, April 19, 2013
My wife and I attended the movie, “42,” in town last weekend. It is the story of Jackie Robinson, the first Negro baseball player, to use the term of that era, to play in the major leagues. It is a story of courage and of struggle with almost unbelievable behavior because of prejudice. Ia wish every American could see this film because although it was about the late 1940s and early 50s, it is timeless in light of the bullying that still goes on today. Baseball fan or not, this is a movie not to be missed.
