Word was wrong choice for story [UPDATED]Published 9:17am Friday, April 19, 2013 Updated 11:23am Friday, April 19, 2013
Concerning your comment: “Film project saves RTC regardless of outcome” (Daily Journal, Thursday, April 11)
Did you really mean to say that the idea was “fantastic”? i.e. very odd or queer, fanciful; eccentric; irrational; etc., etc.?
Or did you not understand what the word meant? Or have they now changed the meaning of the word?
Of course, I am fairly old-fashioned and actually expect the publisher of an English language newspaper to be familiar with that language.
P.S. re: “Chances as a professional slim” (D.J. April, 14) Did you really mean to say: “bring closure to any delusions of becoming a farmer.”
