A 17-year-old from rural Fergus Falls was arrested Friday night after he reportedly pointed a black handgun at another car while stopped at a traffic light at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Tower Road, according to Fergus Falls police.
The report came in at about 8:40 p.m. Friday of a passenger in a white Chevy Impala pointing a gun due to a road rage incident about an hour before. Police later found the vehicle due to the car description and possible name of a suspect from the reportee.
The 17-year-old was arrested for second-degree assault and terroistic threats for brandishing and pointing a gun in the direction of a driver and passengers. He was taken to the Moorhead Juvenile Detention Center. Two others in the vehicle was cited for possession of marijuana in a motor vehicle.
