Deserae Schletty, formerly of Aberdeen, S.D., died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen.0331.obit.Schletty.Deserae

Deserae and her baby girl are survived by a son, Ashton James; John Schletty and his family of Minneapolis; her mother and stepfather, Dar and Al Burgard of Aberdeen; her father, Robert D. (Mary) Smith of California and Rory Mikkonen of Frederick, S.D.; grandparents, Beverly Lien of Veblen, S.D., and Pat and Ray Mikkonen of Frederick, S.D.; her step-siblings, Anne (Mike) Bauder and their children, Grant and Brooke and Ross (Liz) Burgard and their baby, John; special friends, Heather and Michelle; and Ashton’s father, Corey Trepp.

They were preceded in death by loving grandparents.

Visitation: Sunday from 4 to 5 p.m., with a Liturgical Wake service at 5 p.m, at the funeral home, and one hour prior to the service at the church

Service: 1 p.m. Monday, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Aberdeen, S.D.

Clergy: Father J. Joseph Holzhauser

Burial: Burial is planned at a later date
