Fergus woman jumps from moving vehicle

A 51-year-old Fergus Falls woman was injured after she jumped out of a moving vehicle just after 11:30 p.m. Tuesday.

She was a passenger in a vehicle driven by a 51-year-old Fergus Falls man in the 600 block of East Hampden Avenue, according to the police report.

The driver was reportedly intoxicated, and he was arrested for felony criminal vehicular operation, fourth-degree DWI, possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The woman was taken by ambulance to Lake Region Healthcare and the extent of her injuries was unknown Wednesday morning, though she possibly suffered a broken pelvis, according to police.
