Hundreds attend annual meeting and customer appreciation in Underwood

Over 450 people gathered at Park Region Telephone Company’s Annual Meeting and Customer Appreciation Event held on Thursday, April 11th at the Underwood school. The event focused on the company’s successes and the future plans and advances they plan to bring to our communities.

The Underwood Lions served their famous pork chops and customers enjoyed visiting the display booths showcasing the company’s products and services. Kids were treated to a movie, popcorn and prizes.

Company Attorney Kent Mattson assisted in the election voting procedures. Controller, Mary Jo Biegler gave the financial report and GM/CEO, Dave Bickett gave a short review of the company’s activities in 2012 and previewed the company plans for the coming year.

Election results revealed incumbent Dwight Hintermeister was re-elected to the Board of Directors and new members to the board were Candace Catoe of Ashby and Carol Green-Kiemle of Vining.

Numerous prize drawings were held. The kid’s grand prize winners were Cole Peterson and Travis King.

Winners of the grand prize drawings for television set and a $200 local phone service credit were Karen Sharpe and Julie Leitch.
