Otter Tail River kayak, canoe race April 27

Published 3:49am Thursday, April 11, 2013 Updated 5:52am Thursday, April 11, 2013

The snow is melting and ice is quickly fading on the Otter Tail River as the much needed moisture should provide great river levels for spring paddling.

Celebrate the spring thaw at the third annual Otter Tail River Kayak/Canoe Race, Saturday, April 27 at 10 a.m. in Frazee.

Open to all abilities, this is a fun event set in a race format.

For registration, questions or if interested in volunteering to help run the event contact Jason Sannes-Venhuizen at 218-234-8834 or email jmsanzen@gmail.com
