Perham resident sentenced for drugs

Benjamin Anthony Ruther, 22, of Perham, was sentenced Thursday, April 11 in Otter Tail County District Court to 13 months in prison for fifth-degree drug possession, a felony. He pleaded guilty March 1.

According to the criminal complaint, Perham Police executed a search warrant of Ruther’s residence July 19, 2012 and found meth pipes in his room.
