Poets (and poetry lovers) wanted

The 18th Annual Coffeehouse Poetry Night will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at the Evansville Arts Center, 111 Main Street, Evansville. The fun begins at 7 p.m.. The event is free.

The public is invited to attend this family-friendly event. People are encouraged to read a favorite poem or two, or just enjoy listening to others. Poems may be original works by the reader, or can be favorite poems written by someone else. Evansville Arts Coalition first hosted this event in celebration of National Poetry Month in 1996.
