The 10th annual West Central Minnesota Employment Law Update will be presented at the Alexandria Technical and Community College in Alexandria from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, June 6.
The field of employment law continues to change and evolve at a fast pace and these changes will be the focus of the event.
Sessions will include:
• Hot off the press news to use – the Latest in Employment Law
• The elephant in the room; The employer mandate and its effects on the employment relationship – health care reform
• Don’t get tripped up by Federal Labor Law – Examination of recent NLRB decisions
• Legal implications of bullying and workplace violence – Exploration of types of bullying and the impact on workplace
The seminar will also include a panel discussion with legal experts to answer your questions about the featured sessions and other timely topics on employment law.
