Fergus adapted bowling competes in Alexandria

The Fergus Falls Otter adapted bowling team competed in the seventh annual Alexandria Invitational Adapted Bowling Tournament on April 25.

Including Fergus, 13 schools competed in singles male, singles female, and four-person team events in both the CI and PI Divisions.

Schools competing at the invitational were Alexandria, Albany, Anoka Hennepin, Dassel Cokato, Detroit Lakes, Fergus Falls, Fridley, Jackson County Central, Lake City, Parkers Prairie, Mankato East, Minnetonka Wayzata and Simley.

Signe Pearson of Simley won the singles female CI Division with a 438 score. Fergus Fall’s bowler Haley Stoa (404) placed ninth. Marcus Krebs bowled a 409 to place sixth in the singles male PI Division. Mazin Hassabelrasoul of Simley placed first with a 435.

Anoka Hennepin won the team CI Division with a total of 1,672 pins. The Fergus Falls team of Dakota Birch, Haley Stoa, Amie Kerr and Tyresha Nolden placed tenth with a sore of 1,514.

The Otter bowlers will finish their dual season on Friday against Parkers Prairie and Jackson County Central.
