Fergus’ SummerFest on RTC campus for the second year

Published 12:36pm Tuesday, May 7, 2013

With the success of last year’s event, the Fergus Falls SummerFest, planned June 7 and 8 this year, will be held at the Regional Treatment Center grounds once again.

Festivities kick off at noon Friday with live bands and a street dance, featuring Heatbox (the one-man music machine), and Alex Rossi and the Root City Band.

Come back Saturday starting at 9 a.m. for children’s activities, crafters, music, food vendors, beer gardens and much more. The event is free and open to the public.

A dog show will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, with a new adult class this year.

For the kiddies, check out the pony rides, a barrel train, bounce houses, water wars and various family activities.
