21-year-old cited for DWI

A Fergus Falls man who called police to report he hit a parked car was later cited for fourth-degree DWI and marijuana possession, according to police.

The 21-year-old reportedly turned north off of Lincoln Avenue onto Second Avenue just before 11 p.m. Thursday and hit a parked car in the 800 block of West Lincoln Avenue.

The parked car went over a curb and up against a tree upon impact.

The driver was cited after investigation, and he and his passenger were not injured.
