NISSWA — Fergus Falls’ Keaton Lausch was able to overcome poor weather conditions as he took medalist honors at The Pines Golf Course Wednesday.

Lausch shot a 73 to take the meet, while teammate Will Haas finished in second on the Otters with an 80.

The Willmar Cardinals claimed the meet with a team score of 310, followed by Eastridge (319) and Forest Lake (324).

The Otters finished the meet one stroke out of third with a 325.

“Right now as coaches, we need on course instruction to help improve our teams ability to understand how to keep the game simpler and shoot more scores that are under control and in the mid 70s, not the mid 80s,” Otter coach Ben Jurgens said.

Team Results: 1. Willmar 310; 2. Eastridge 319; 3. Forest Lake 324; 4. Fergus Falls 325.

Individual Results: Keaton Lausch 73; Will Haas 80; Andrew MacFarlane 86; Levi Soydara 86; Chris Swenson 87; Ryan Smith 91.
