Arrows end season with 10-2 win

ASHBY — The Arrows softball team closed out its regular season with a 10-2 win over Eagle Valley Friday.

“It was great to end the season with a win and end the regular season with a 13-2 record,” Arrows coach Kandace Norby said. “I’m proud of the Lady Arrows because they always play seven innings of hard ball and battle until the end.”

Jeanette Evavold led the Ashby hitters going three for four with three RBI and two runs scored.

Paige Nelson got the win for the Arrows pitching a complete game, allowing three hits and two runs.

The Arrows will once gain take on the Rebels at 5 p.m. on Tuesday as it opens the Section 6A softball playoffs.
