Driver hits power pole in Parkers Prairie

A 74-year-old man was seriously injured when his vehicle ran off the road and hit a pole power in Parkers Prairie, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

The driver, of Spring Lake Park, Minn., headed west on County Rd. 42 just before 8 a.m. Thursday. The driver drove out of the ditch after hitting the power pole. State Patrol found the vehicle disabled at Hwy. 29 and County Rd. 6.

The state patrol is investigating the crash.
