Many thanks offered to all who helped

On behalf of the Friends of the Prairie Wetlands board of directors, I want to thank everyone who had a part in making our recent fundraiser a success.

Without auction item donations made by generous, caring people and businesses, and the equally generous people who purchased them, we would not have been able to raise enough to purchase a dozen digital SLR cameras, telephoto lenses and tripods. The cameras will be used in a variety of ways, including giving Members of the Friends visiting the Prairie Wetlands Learning Center the opportunity to check out cameras for use during their visits to the PWLC.

Thanks also to auctioneer Cary Aasness and his crew; the Victor Lundeen Company and Otter Tail Power for printing; and to the following for sponsoring tables: Otter Tail Power, Nelson Auto; Lake Region Healthcare; Mill Street Residence; Pemberton Law; Bell State Bank; Bremer Bank and Ward Uggerud.
