The Lake Region Healthcare Foundation Board of Directors recently honored retired physician Art Syverson for 22 years of service on the board.

Foundation Board President, Larry Dorn, took time during the organization’s annual meeting this week to honor Syverson for his contributions.

“We sincerely appreciate Art’s loyalty, insight and concern for the welfare of this organization and residents of this area,” Dorn said. “The board of directors recognizes that the Foundation’s ability to accomplish its mission has been enhanced due to Art’s presence on the board these past 22 years.”

The Foundation Board will announce a recommendation for an appointed replacement to the full Lake Region Healthcare Board of Trustees later this month.
