Vandal steal candy from park concessions [UPDATED]Published 10:07am Monday, June 3, 2013 Updated 12:11pm Monday, June 3, 2013
An unknown suspect entered the concession building at DeLagoon Park and stole $120 worth of candy and change, according to Fergus Falls Police.
The thief reportedly kicked in a window air conditioner to break into the building. About $20 in change was taken from the cashbox, along with about $100 worth of candy. Based on when employees were in the building, it’s believed the theft happened either Thursday evening or early Friday morning, according to the police report.
Police recovered two fingerprints and one footprint from the scene.
A couple days earlier, someone broke into a building at the park and caused about $1,000 worth of damage to the front garage door and stole a truck key. That truck was taken over the weekend but later found on a bike path, according to police.
There are no suspects at this time.
