Resident interrupts burglary

A Fergus Falls man interrupted a burglary at his house at about 2 p.m. Monday, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

The resident found a man in his garage in the 2900 block of South Cascade Street. Nothing was taken, and the man fled on foot. The sheriff’s office and police searched the area but were unable to locate the man, described as 40 years old wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.

Prior break-ins have occurred at this location. The case is under investigation.
