Sheridan violates restraining order [UPDATED]Published 9:18am Monday, June 17, 2013 Updated 11:26am Monday, June 17, 2013
Jacob Larry Sheridan, 35, of Fergus Falls, was sentenced June 10 in Otter Tail County District Court to 120 days in jail, with 110 days to be stayed for two years, for gross misdemeanor harassment restraining order. He pleaded guilty May 6.
According to the criminal complaint, Sheridan got into a fight at about 11:30 p.m. Dec. 5, 2012 at the Z103 Bar and Grill. Sheridan was at the bar and then left the bar with a woman who had a restraining order against Sheridan. The restraining order was issued July 20, 2012 and was still effective, the report says.
Sheridan had a harassment restraining order conviction in 2012, and a pending charge for harassment restraining order violation against the same victim in this case.
