26-year-old injured in rollover [UPDATED]Published 10:14am Monday, June 24, 2013 Updated 12:17pm Monday, June 24, 2013
The injured driver in a vehicle that overturned in a slough near Vining Saturday has been identified.
Tiffany Froslee, 26, of Henning, was taken by ambulance to Tri-County Hospital and then taken by air to St. Cloud with life-threatening injuries, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.
Her pickup truck was reportedly northbound on County Hwy. 40 in Vining at 2:30 p.m. Saturday when it went off the right side of the roadway, hit an approach and vaulted into a slough.
The vehicle landed upside down and was submerged in water.
Other motorists reportedly pulled the driver, the only occupant, from the vehicle.
The Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department, Henning Ambulance and Vining Rescue were called to the scene. Emergency crews reportedly performed CPR on Froslee.
Speed appears to be the major factor in the crash. Froslee was not wearing a seatbelt.
