A Lisbon, N.D., driver who missed a turn, ended up in the front yard of the Pelican Rapids Police Chief June 6.
A preliminary breath test showed Lere’s alcohol concentration to be 0.21.
A 13-month-old child was also in the car but not hurt.
Christopher Glenn Lere, 43, pleaded guilty Monday, June 24 in Otter Tail County District Court to gross misdemeanor DWI and was sentenced to 365 days in jail, with 345 days to be stayed for six years.
A gross misdemeanor count of endangering a child was dismissed.
