Driver cited for drugs, speeding [UPDATED]

A driver who was pulled over for speeding Thursday was also cited for having marijuana in a motor vehicle, according to Fergus Falls police.

Police stopped the 21-year-old man at Union and Stanton avenues just after 8 p.m. Thursday for speeding, but the odor of marijuana prompted a vehicle search. A container with 5.1 grams of marijuana was found.

The driver was cited for marijuana in a motor vehicle and speeding.
