Kempters to perform at Basswood Baptist Church

Published 9:09am Thursday, June 13, 2013 Updated 11:20am Thursday, June 13, 2013

The Kempters, a handmade family bluegrass gospel band, will perform at 10:45 a.m. and 7 p.m. Sunday, at Basswood Baptist Church in Richville.

An offering will be collected.

The public is invited.

The group lives in and has a strong following at home in Central Alabama. Their performances are inspirational and display the quite considerable God given talents of the entire family.

This is not a stodgy bunch of musicians as you can imagine with a 10-year-old girl playing the drums. Their performances are quite joyful and active.

The band members are all family and include Chaz Kempter and his six children. Visit www.thekempters.com for more information.

Check this group out on line and then go to the live performance.

It will be an experience you will remember for some time. For local information and directions contact Burt Holmquist at the Basswood Baptist Church, phone 218-495-3771.
