Resort cabin damaged in fire [UPDATED]

A cabin at Troje’s Resort in Richville had minor smoke and water damage after a reported possible fire, according to a news release from the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

A 911 call came in at 11:19 p.m. Monday for a possible cabin fire at 38092 County Hwy. 44. Smoke reportedly came from the water heater area.

There were no injuries and the cabin’s renters were moved to a vacant cabin.

Dent and Perham fire departments, along with Otter Tail County deputies responded.
