Teen injured in horse accident [UPDATED]

A 16-year-old suffered non-life threatening injuries after being bucked off a horse at Maplewood State Park Monday morning, according to scanner reports.

The incident occurred at a horse camp at about 8:15 a.m., according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office. Pelican Rapids Fire Department and Pelican Ambulance responded with ATVs and a cart. The victim was taken by ambulance to Perham Hospital.
