Bluebird Gardens thief sentenced to jail time

Daniel James Gebhardt, 27, of St. Anthony, Minn., was sentenced July 8 in Otter Tail County District Court to 15 months in prison, to be stayed for five years, and 343 days in jail for felony theft.

According to the criminal complaint, Gebhardt stole a laptop valued at $900 and $900 cash in August 2011 from the Bluebird Gardens property in Fergus Falls. Gebhardt was reportedly part of the gardening internship program.
