Vehicles totaled in sideswipe

A farm truck with logs and a half-ton pickup truck sideswiped each other Friday afternoon in Vergas, totaling both vehicles, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

The two vehicles met on a narrow, minimum-maintance road at 49932 325th Avenue just before 1 p.m.

The driver of the 1997 Chevy pickup had sore ribs.
