“Baptized for this Moment” is the theme for the 65th annual Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod convention, planned Saturday through Thursday, July 25, in St. Louis.

The lay delegate from the Fergus Falls circuit is Gene Prause from Trinity Lutheran Church.

For many months, the president, the Rev. Dr. Matthew C. Harrison, the various national boards, approximately 1,200 voting delegates from all over the nation, the speakers, and the overseas guests, have been preparing for this tri-annual convention of the LCMS.

Floor committees have drafted 116 proposed resolutions regarding ministries to rural and small towns, the youth, Hispanics, African-Americans, life and health, schools, universities, seminaries, witness and outreach programs, disaster relief, overseas missions, various other groups, and all our established congregations.
