Two people were seriously injured after a collision caused a motorcycle rollover near Detroit Lakes Friday night, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Ida Engel, 56, and Beverly Lusty, 58, both of Detroit Lakes, were each seriously injured when their roadster motorcycle was clipped by a Jeep Grand Cherokee.
The driver of the Jeep traveled eastbound on Highway 34 at about 7 p.m. when it lost control and veered into the westbound lane. The Jeep clipped the westbound motorcycle, sending it into the north ditch and rolling, the report says.

The collision occurred on Hwy. 34 at 320th Avenue, and road conditions were reportedly wet.
