52-year-old assaults woman in Pelican Rapids

Daniel Len Thompson, 52, was charged in Otter Tail County District Court with felony domestic assault by strangulation. His first court appearance was July 23.

According to the criminal complaint, Thompson and a woman got into an argument July 20 at a Pelican Rapids residence. He allegedly grabbed the woman by the throat and threw her on a bed.

Thompson’s next court appearance is scheduled for Sept. 9.
