Firefighter had surgery on arm

The Fergus Falls firefighter who suffered a broken arm after falling down a flight of stairs during the blaze had surgery and was released from the hospital later on Monday, according to Hovland.

He’s doing fine but won’t be working for awhile, Hovland said. A Battle Lake firefighter also had a slight concussion and heat exhaustion from the fire though he seems to be doing fine, Hovland said.
