A 15-year-old boy died early Wednesday after a one-vehicle rollover just south of Detroit Lakes, according to a news release from the Becker County Sheriff’s Office.

Jayme Honrud, of Erhard, was in a vehicle with four other juveniles when the sheriff’s office responded to the rollover at about 2:44 a.m. Wednesday on Vergas Trails Road. Honrud was pronounced dead at the scene.

Two others were taken by ambulance to the hospital and released, and another two people were taken to the hospital by private vehicle, treated for minor scrapes and bruises and released.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash. The incident is under investigation.

A R.I.P Jayme Honrud Facebook page was created and had more than 700 likes by early today.
