The PRCA Rodeo at Red Horse Ranch north of Fergus Falls opens tonight and fans are sure to be entertained, just as they have been for nine years.
Professional level rodeo athletes will compete in bull riding, wrestle steers, rope calves, ride bucking broncos and barrel race to take champion titles home.Tonight features teams of three who will attempt to be the first to saddle and ride a cow across the finish line.
Look for Team Mule-Skinner of Frazee, winner the past three years, to put up a gallant fight with a record to protect.
From each ticket sold Saturday, $2 will benefit breast cancer awareness and education during Tough Enough to Wear Pink night. Rodeo fans are encouraged to wear pink that night to show support of the initiative.
In addition, business and food vendors will be on site, and the beer garden will be open. Go early and take in all the sights, sounds and tastes of this popular rodeo event.
End both evenings kicking up your boots to the sounds of Fat Daddy’s, sponsored by the Ram Rodeo Series.
No matter your favorite event, the PRCA Rodeo will have something for everyone and we encourage everyone to go and experience the family event.
