Authorities looking for suspect who entered home [UPDATED]

The Richland County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a man who entered a rural Walcott residence Aug. 21, according to a news release.

The man reportedly entered through an open window after cutting a screen at about 12:20 p.m. He was scared off by people in the house. He fled in an SUV that was described as a black or navy blue 1992-1999 Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban with minor damage around the driver’s headlight.

He’s described as being slender, about 6-feet tall with short blond hair, a lip piercing and a scruffy face.
