Ever changing seasons and continued growth of our children forces moms to go to extremes to find good quality clothing at a great price. We go to stores and purchase clothing for our kids to find out yet again that after 3 washings, the pants are 2 inches too short and the shirt doesn’t button. Who hasn’t been there?IMG_7798

Beach Chic on a budget

Our children are growing in their sleep!! Julie Scott is a pro at finding quality clothing for her 5 children at the lowest prices available. She hits the rummage sales in the summer, the thrift and discount stores and now the latest trend, Buy/Sell/Swap on Facebook. Her children range in age from 3-14 (Devon-14, Lilly-10, Ariel-8, Daidre-8, Chase-3) and they always seem to sport the latest trends in fashion, thanks to their frugal Mom. So if you are looking to save a buck or two, follow Julie’s few tricks:

Buy clothes that are interchangeable with other things they may have.

Look for high quality clothes that may last longer and can be passed down to the next child.

Sell all your unwanted and out-grown clothes to pay for your next purchases.
