The delegates and other and others who attended the 65th Tri-annual Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod convention in St. Louis have returned with a feeling of having accomplished much.

Several specific goals included doubling the number of overseas missionaries, strengthening the teachings on day-to-day living in view of the cultural and societal challenges of the present, and many more.

“We voted on over 100 resolutions and many will affect every pastor and congregation in our synod,” said Fergus Falls Delegate Gene Prause. “They all focus on Jesus Christ. This also shows me that God has placed exceptional leaders among us.”
