Rothsay teen arrested after chase

A 19-year-old Rothsay woman was arrested Thursday after she allegedly fled from authorities after being pulled over for speeding, according to the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Office.

She was stopped for speeding at 1:08 p.m. on County Hwy. 88 near County Hwy. 24 when she led authorities on a three to four-mile chase. She was arrested for fleeing in a motor vehicle, speeding, careless driving and fourth-degree DWI.

She was also cited earlier for failure to yield the right of way during a hit-and-run at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and College Way, according to Fergus Falls police.
