All rodeo fans are challenged to be “tough enough to wear pink” at the PRCA Tough Enough to Wear Pink night at Red Horse Ranch on Saturday, Aug. 10.

Red Horse Ranch will donate two dollars from every ticket sold that night to the Lake Region Healthcare (LRH) Cancer Care & Research Center.

“We are so grateful for this partnership and the money it raises for cancer care and research right here in Fergus Falls,” said Larry Schulz, LRH President and CEO.

“The Cancer Center is about more than breast cancer, but we fully recognize the power of pink and Wrangler’s partnership with the PRCA to help benefit cancer care and research.”

The Lake Region Healthcare Foundation is hosting several additional activities and fundraisers in conjunction with the rodeo.

They will be set up in a tent on the rodeo grounds both Friday and Saturday night serving the famous Underwood Lions pork chops to enjoy while you watch the rodeo.

Tough Enough to Wear Pink merchandise and a special billboard signing event sponsored by Mortenson Sign Company will also take place at the LRH Foundation Rodeo Tent.

A balloon release honoring and memorializing lives touched by cancer will take place at 7 p.m. to kick off the rodeo Saturday night.

You can purchase balloons at the rodeo on Aug. 9 or 10 or at Lake Region Healthcare or by calling 218-736-8195.

The winning raffle tickets for two iPads, a fitness package at Phatty Nattie’s, a one-year YMCA membership, $100 cash and an electric grill will also be drawn at Saturday night’s rodeo. Raffle tickets are on sale now at the Fergus Falls Chamber of Commerce office or at Lake Region Healthcare.
