Last FF downtown mystery tour Sept. 5 [UPDATED]Published 4:14am Tuesday, September 3, 2013 Updated 6:32am Tuesday, September 3, 2013
Don’t miss the season finale of the historic Downtown Fergus Falls Mystery Tour on Thursday, September 5, 6:30 p.m. The tour begins in the lobby of the Nationally Registered 1929 River Inn on South Mill Street.
This popular twilight program explores some of the city’s more colorful characters and notorious events. The tour visits locations where actual events took place such as the site of an infamous Thanksgiving promotion that went terribly wrong. Or the schemes of a well known local businessman that resulted in the arrival of women, who in polite terms, lacked discretion. We will also see the hotel where a dead body was discovered only after guests complained about a foul odor coming from the room.
As historical characters come to life, the Downtown Fergus Falls Mystery Tour is an event you won’t want to miss. Be aware that much of the content may not be suitable for young children.
Come and join a tour that is quickly becoming one of Fergus Falls must see events. Admission is just $6, no advanced registration is needed. For more information call 218-736-6038 or visit www.otchs.org
