A Fergus Falls man who was arrested after he allegedly stole a vehicle was charged in Otter Tail County District Court.
Jeffery Allen Wilson, 27, was charged with felony theft of a motor vehicle and misdemeanor theft. His first court appearance was Sept. 3.
According to the criminal complaint, Wilson stole a Chevrolet Suburban from a backyard in the 1200 block of Mt. Faith Avenue sometime after 8 p.m. Sept. 1.
The next day, Wilson allegedly filled up the vehicle with $141 worth of gasoline at Stop-N-Go and drove off without paying.
Police identified the stolen vehicle and Wilson from Stop-N-Go video.
A witness led police to Wilson, who was arrested Sept. 2 at his residence.
He told police he parked the vehicle near Lake Alice, where they later found it.
