Fergus Falls girls tennis competes at Minnewaska

MINNEWASKA — The Otter girls tennis team looked to win its second match against West Central Saturday, but the rain came before they could complete their match.

Third double team of Mikaela Norgard and Sophie Rausch won a three set match with Hailey Kreft and Megan Holl 6-7, 7-5, 10-1.

In singles action, Amanda Nelson defeated Taylor Andreson 6-4, 4-6, 10-2 and Abby MacFarlane topped Ali Veldhouse 6-2, 6-0.

The Otters will hit the road for a dual meet Tuesday as it takes on St. Cloud Tech at 4:30 p.m.
