Foundation seeks continued support for school district [UPDATED]

In my experience a successful and well-run organization depends not on the efforts of one individual, but on all the individuals coming together to promote and advance the mission of the organization. So it is with School District 544.

The Fergus Falls 544 Education Foundation is proud to be a part of this partnership enhancing the quality of public education.

The Foundation may be a small player, but we believe its contribution is important and unique. The Foundation provide funding for projects outside of the general school budget.

Examples include recent purchase of iPads and chess boards for the elementary schools, and smart boards and a wheel balancer for the secondary schools.

In addition, the Foundation links 20,000 alumni to District 544. For example, the Foundation staff members and volunteers were critical to the success of the Class of 1963 50th class reunion this summer.

I ask you for your continued or new support. Consider becoming a member, or continuing your Foundation membership. Your charitable contribution will increase the Foundation’s ability to even more effectively partner with District 544.
