Knights hold on in five set battle

LONG PRAIRIE — The West Central Area girls continue its hot start as it topped Long Prairie-Grey Eagle in its first Prairie North Conference battle 25-18, 24-26, 25-18, 23-25, 15-8.

Holly Van Kempen was all over the court for the Knights as she recorded 14 kills, 14 digs, six blocks and five block assists. Teammate Tiana Christenson added 26 digs to the stat line in the win.

The Knights will be home for the first time this season Tuesday as it hosts Osakis in a 7:30 p.m. tilt.
