Spartans take Rams head on, win in three sets [UPDATED]

The M State Spartan volleyball team was able to make quick work of the Anoka-Ramsey Golden Rams Wednesday evening, winning in three sets 25-22, 26-24, 25-6.

Teresa Moenkedick led the Spartan defense with 17 digs, while teammates Shae Brown (16), Gretchen Freed (15) and Kelsey Hammer (13) were all in double figures in digs.

The Spartans will travel to St. Cloud Friday to take on St. Cloud Tech and the Bethel JV in a 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. game times.
