Published 2:18pm Thursday, October 3, 2013

Neil Jacobs, a masterful performer on the 12-string acoustic guitar, will perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 17, at A Center for the Arts’ Fergus Theatre, 124 W. Lincoln Ave., downtown Fergus Falls.

This is the second of four On-Stage Concerts for the 2013-14 season. It is an intimate chamber music experience with a limited number of seats set-up on AC4TA’s stage with the artist. Only 70 tickets are available.

Reserved seating tickets are $25 for adults and $5 for children/students. (There is also a sustainability fee of $1 added to the listed price of each ticket.) Tickets can be purchased at our box office, by phone at 218-998-ARTS (2787) and online at

Jacobs has his own captivating style of playing that the St. Louis Riverfront Times describes as “mesmerizing” and the Austin Chronicle describes as “the rockin’est since early Leo Kottke.”

He covers the world vibe with music diverse as gypsy, world, Balkan folk, jazz, classical and modern fingerstyle, while transforming his 12-string acoustic guitar into his own personal orchestra. Neil draws inspiration from his world travels and experiences, and shares his fascinating stories with his audience.
