Police labor contracts up for approvalPublished 6:03am Monday, October 7, 2013
Some general housekeeping items will be on the agenda for the Fergus Falls City Council at its regular meeting Monday.
The council will receive an update on labor negotiations and contract approvals. It will also face a resolution to approve labor contracts for police officers and police sergeants.
As part of the consent agenda, the council will vote on a resolution for an easement to Park Region Telephone/Ottertail Telcom for the installation of fiber optic connections in public right-of-way and on city property.
It will look to move forward on a water main extension project on Scenic Drive by approving quotes. The extension would go from Pebble Shores Drive and continue 700 feet east.
The intent is to have the water main in place before May 15, 2014. The $52,000 project would be funded by special assessments, city water fund and city sanitary sewer fund.
The personnel committee will also present the city administrator performance evaluation for council approval.
The city council will meet at 5:30 p.m. Monday in the city council chambers.
