Arrows weighed down by mud in OrtonvillePublished 10:55am Monday, October 14, 2013
ORTONVILLE — Rain and wind helped Ortonville football team keep Ashby quarterback Blake Ohren to 60 yards on just two completions and 91 rushing yards on 24 carries as the Trojans held on for a 8-0 victory Friday night.
“It was a mud bowl out here tonight,” said Arrows head coach Jeff Risbrudt. “With the wind and the pre-game rain tonight it really made us a one dimensional team.”
Hunter Fick led the Arrow defense with 13.5 tackles. Gavin Saxton had eight and a sack.
With the loss, the Arrows fall to 2-5. Ashby travels to face the #1 (9-Man) Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley Wolverines at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday in Graceville.
