A St. Paul woman who forged checks for more than $3,000 worth of purchases was sentenced Oct. 14 in Otter Tail County District Court.
Alexanderia Mary Pflephsen, 20, was sentenced to 20 days in jail for felony check forgery. She pleaded guilty Aug. 12.
According to the criminal complaint, Pflephsen purchased electronics with fraudulent checks at the Fergus Falls Walmart in December 2012 and January 2013.
She made purchases for $1,287.21, $840.10 and $966.20.
After the purchases, Pflephsen reportedly returned the items to other Walmart stores in St. Cloud, St. Paul and Wisconsin.
